K-Pop is set to take over Expo 2020 Dubai once again, as Brave Girls, Megamax, and Hi-L will perform at the DEC Arena this Friday, March 11.
Brave Girls are the girl group behind the hit song “Rollin”, while Megamax, known for their fusion of hip-hop and rap, are behind the song “Painted Love”, which has hit more than 75,000 views on YouTube.
Last is Hi-L—‘High Insight Libre’—who have released the mini-album Go High.

The concert will kick off at 8:30 PM at the DEC Arena. Doors will open at 7:30 PM.

Expo 2020 Dubai: DJ Marshmello

DJ Marshmello is back in the UAE, and he’ll be performing a concert on March 10.

The concert will be free with a regular Expo 2020 Dubai pass, so if you have one, or can get one of the many free passes, you’re in luck. Otherwise, you can get a ticket valid for the rest of the month for only AED 50—so grab that and come back whenever you want.
Once you have your ticket, head to the Jubilee Stage before 8:30 PM.
Marshmello was last in the UAE back in 2019 when he performed at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix after-race concerts on Yas Island, where he played his hits including “Friends”, “Alone”, “Wolves”, and “Happier.”

Coldplay’s Expo 2020 moment
Last month, Coldplay played Expo 2020, in one of the biggest musical moments in recent memory.
“Join Coldplay as they bring the world together with their never-before-seen show regionally premiering their new album and highlighting the importance of protecting the planet in line with Expo’s sub-theme of Sustainability. Booking will be available for free as of 21:00 GST on 12 February, for those wanting to attend in person at Al Wasl Dome on 15 February. Tickets are required for entry to the show,” readthe official announcement from Expo 2020 Dubai.
Coldplay has a long history in the UAE
Coldplay, while globally popular, enjoys a particularly close relationship to the UAE, having played New Year’s Eve concerts in 2011 and 2016, which many people in the UAE count amongst their favourite concerts ever held in the country.

Expo 2020 Dubai and Coldplay are a natural fit—Expo 2020’s main theme is sustainability, and Coldplay has made it the mission of their current tour to be eco-friendly, with principles that centre around ‘reduce, reinvent, and restore’, according to their website, with a pledge to cut their direct CO2 emissions by 50 per cent compared to their previous tour, with a focus on sustainable biofuels, solar, barriers, kinetic energy and grid renewables. They’re also avoiding flying as much as possible, paying a surcharge to use or supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel when they do have to fly.
Coldplay has long been a fan of the region, playing Jordan for the first time in 2019 with an album that was heavily inspired by Arab culture.
The video for Arabesque for example has “salam wa habb” (peace in love) written in the top corner. Another song on the album is set to be Bandi Adam, which means Child of Adam in English.
