It has been a good year for Michele Morrone.
However, not even the actor who rocketed to success during a year of pandemic was totally immune.
We sat down with Morrone last week, to discuss other things like how he became ‘meme of the year’, but also to ask how he coped with lockdown in Italy – one of the word affected countries by COVID-19.
The actor was at his home in Rome when the pandemic took hold, and spent two months isolating in the city.
“It was terrible,” says Morrone”
“But during that time he tried to stay positive and concentrate on making art. “I locked myself at home writing new songs and painting. The pandemic was something incredibly bad for the whole world. But there is an opportunity in the experience, too, to help us understand who we are.”
Michele Morrone became a household name earlier this year, after Netflix aired the erotic thriller ‘365 Days’. As the world hunkered down, it became mandatory viewing.
“I knew it would be good exposure, but I was not expecting all of this. I was not expecting Forbes to be proclaiming it as the most watched film in the history of Netflix.”
