But Gaultier Paris will continue

Jean paul Galtier – one fashion’s most iconic designers – has announced his retirement from the runyway after a career spanning more than 50-years.

The 67-year-old French couture designer made the announcement on Twitter, via a funny little video.

The information came after Gaultier declared his significant 50th-anniversary haute couture show, which will happen in the Théatre du Châtelet on January 22 during Paris Fashion Week.

“Today I will discuss something with you,” Gaultier said after giving out information concerning the upcoming show. “This is my final haute couture show, my final Gaultier Paris series. Be there, you can not miss it.”

However, the designer ensured fans his retirement doesn’t spell the end for Gaultier Paris.

“Stay tuned, Gaultier Paris will proceed, the haute couture continues,” Gaultier said from the movie statement. “I’ve a new idea, I will tell you about it afterwards, all of the little secrets”.

Gaultier is known for dressing celebrities such as Madonna, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. He also released a ready-to-wear collection in partnership with Supreme in 2019.
