The redesigned all-in-one computers will be available in the Middle East very soon

Apple has just unveiled a new line of colourful iMac computers, at its recent Spring Loaded event.

The all-in-ones come in a slew of new colours, and are powered by Apple’s M1 chip – which was revealed last year.

The new M1 iMacs are only 11.5mm thin, but still pack a massive 24-inch 4.5k resolution display. It also comes with a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, six speakers, a keyboard with TouchID and matching Magic Mouse colours.

The 2021 iMacs come in seven colours: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver.

“M1 is a gigantic leap forward for the Mac, and today we’re excited to introduce the all-new iMac, the first Mac designed around the breakthrough M1 chip,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in a statement.

“With its striking design in seven stunning colors, its immersive 4.5K Retina display, the best camera, mics, and speakers ever in a Mac, and Touch ID, combined with the amazing performance of M1 and the power of macOS Big Sur, the new iMac takes everything people love about iMac to an entirely new level.”

Unlike previous iMac models which have taken their sweet time to arrive in the UAE, these models will be available in the Middle East next month.

You can pre-order the new iMacs on April 30, with orders shipping in the second half of May. All models come with Apple’s M1 and that 24-inch screen and start at AED5,499.

Elsewhere at Apple’s Spring Loaded event, the company unveiled a new iPhone 12 (now available in purple), AirTags, as well as a redesigned Apple TV and the world’s most powerful tablet – the iPad Pro.
